I'm tired!
But I've been tearing through this bathroom project and making lots of progress. I definitely see a reveal post coming on Monday.
So the pink tile is no more!
My answer to covering up the pepto bismal disaster was.....
........ drum roll.......
VINYL PANELING!
Wooohooo!!
Looks so clean!
I still need to add filler to the trim and paint so it will look better by Monday.
Quarter round and "tile"
I promise to give more details later on why I chose vinyl, how I installed everything, etc, etc. But now, it's 12:30am and I have to work in the morning!
TGIF!

ReplyDeleteThe bathroom is actually starting to remind me a bit of a beach house. I think it's the paneling. It's looking really great! I never would have thought you could have such a huge bathroom transformation without ripping up what was already there.
It does look beachy! And I might keep it that way but Ed wants it a little darker/more manly haha. We're going to work on that this weekend :)
DeleteI never would have thought to use vinyl paneling to cover up tile! It looks amazing already and I can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteWOOOWWW!! I'm completely impressed. Using that vinyl paneling was brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI definitely did not think of using that! I was thinking you'd have to paint the tile or something. What a creative solution! I cannotttttttt wait to see the final product! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are one smart cookie!
